Resource budgets enforced while parsing YAML.
This value separates denial-of-service controls from YAML semantics and
post-parse integrations. Apply a complete budget set with
ParserConfig::with_limits, or read the active budgets with
ParserConfig::limits. Existing ParserConfig limit fields remain
public for backward compatibility.
§Examples
use noyalib::{ParserConfig, ParserLimits};
let mut limits = ParserLimits::strict();
limits.max_document_length = 8 * 1024;
let cfg = ParserConfig::new().with_limits(limits);
assert_eq!(cfg.max_document_length, 8 * 1024);Fields (Non-exhaustive)§
This struct is marked as non-exhaustive
Struct { .. } syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..; and struct update syntax will not work.max_depth: usizeMaximum YAML structural recursion depth.
max_document_length: usizeMaximum bytes in one YAML document.
max_stream_bytes: usizeMaximum bytes in one multi-document stream.
max_alias_expansions: usizeMaximum expansions of one anchor.
max_mapping_keys: usizeMaximum keys in one mapping.
max_sequence_length: usizeMaximum elements in one sequence.
max_events: usizeMaximum parser events across the input.
max_nodes: usizeMaximum Value nodes across the input.
max_total_scalar_bytes: usizeMaximum scalar bytes after alias expansion.
max_documents: usizeMaximum documents in one stream.
max_merge_keys: usizeMaximum merge-key entries across one document.
alias_anchor_ratio: Option<f64>Optional maximum alias-to-anchor ratio.
alias_jump_event_factor: Option<usize>Optional transitive alias-expansion factor per parser event.
max_include_depth: usizeMaximum !include recursion depth.
max_include_sources: usizeMaximum sources resolved by one include walk.
max_total_include_bytes: usizeMaximum cumulative bytes returned by include resolvers.
Implementations§
Source§impl ParserLimits
impl ParserLimits
Sourcepub fn profile(profile: ParserProfile) -> Self
pub fn profile(profile: ParserProfile) -> Self
Return the resource budgets associated with a named parser profile.
The SerdeYaml profile uses the standard absolute budgets plus the
compatibility layer’s transitive alias-expansion factor.
Sourcepub const fn strict() -> Self
pub const fn strict() -> Self
Return the tighter budgets used by ParserProfile::Strict.

Returns a styled value derived from self with the foreground set to

builder methods like red() and
green(), which have the same functionality but are
pithier.
§Example

fn attr(&self, value: Attribute) -> Painted<&T>
Enables the styling [Attribute] value.
This method should be used rarely. Instead, prefer to use
attribute-specific builder methods like bold() and
underline(), which have the same functionality
but are pithier.
§Example
Make text bold using attr():
use yansi::{Paint, Attribute};

Enables the yansi [Quirk] value.

wrap(), which have the same functionality but are
pithier.
§Example
Enable wrapping using .quirk():
use yansi::{Paint, Quirk};
painted.quirk(Quirk::Wrap);Enable wrapping using wrap().
use yansi::Paint;
painted.wrap();§fn clear(&self) -> Painted<&T>
👎Deprecated since 1.0.1: renamed to resetting() due to conflicts with Vec::clear().
The clear() method will be removed in a future release.
fn clear(&self) -> Painted<&T>
renamed to resetting() due to conflicts with Vec::clear().
The clear() method will be removed in a future release.
§fn whenever(&self, value: Condition) -> Painted<&T>
fn whenever(&self, value: Condition) -> Painted<&T>
Conditionally enable styling based on whether the [Condition] value
applies. Replaces any previous condition.
See the crate level docs for more details.
§Example
Enable styling painted only when both stdout and stderr are TTYs:
use yansi::{Paint, Condition};
painted.red().on_yellow().whenever(Condition::STDOUTERR_ARE_TTY);
